Paul Neagu, Guide to Generative Arts Group. (Generative Arts Research Group) 1977

£150.00

A blue folder with red titles to cover containing an 8 page document “For Generative Arts” by Paul Neagu (1977) which is stapled to the folder; along with 2 large folded posters housed in a pouch also within the folder.

“The Generative Art Group is perhaps Neagu’s most conceptual project. The concept Generative Art can be found repeatedly in his notes and drawings; with the founding of the artist group, however, this takes on a framework that is clear in terms of organization and material. The group of five members includes three painters, a designer and a writer; only Neagu is real. The other four members are his inventions, and the works attributed to them come from his hand. (excerpt from “Paul Neagu and His Elective Affines” essay by Friedemann Malsch, published in “Paul Neagu – The Monograph“)
