Room and Book is an online second-hand art bookshop run from a small upstairs flat at Strand-on-the-Green on the River Thames in West London. Room & Book stocks second-hand art, architecture and design books, as well as exhibition catalogues and ephemera, with a focus on material from 1920 to 1980. Emphasis is given to books, exhibition catalogues and important periodicals relating to modern British art and international modernism, particularly sculpture.

We currently have books available covering the Pre-Raphaelites, the British Arts and Crafts movement, modern British craft and studio ceramics, Surrealism, DADA, Constructivism, Vorticism, The Independent Group, as well as books relating to international architecture, graphic design and the history of typography.
