ArTitudes was a French art journal founded by the art critic François Pluchart who was editor between1971 and 1973. The journal covered French and international art at the beginning of the 1970s and is regarded as a particularly important source of documentation for performance art of the 1970s in France. The current issue, No. 5, March 1972, includes an interview with Joseph Beuys by Penelope Marcus following Beuys’ influential Tate exhibition; a review of the landmark series of conceptual art exhibitions, Seven Exhibitions at Tate Gallery (Keith Arnatt, Michael Craig-Martin, Bob Law, Joseph Beuys, Hamish Fulton, Bruce McLean, David Tremlet); a double-sided foldout César poster; as well as other articles on and photographs of works by Dubuffet, Jan Dibbets, NIki de Saint-Phalle, Julio Le Parc, Olivier Mosset, Gina Pane, Ben Vautier, Hervé Télématique, Michel Journiac, New York News including Joan Jonas, Brice Marden.
