“I had an installation piece in mind using motifs from clouds & spitfire airplanes, using their resemblance to the plaster flying birds that were placed, 3 birds on living room walls. I also constructed a mirror in the shape of the clouds that were painted, to be used as a reflection of a plane on the opposite wall. The planes were made of sawn quite thick sectioned oak & then painted with humbrol paint, the colours of both camouflage & a ‘flying duck’.
