£25.00

The third summer show of 1976 featured five artists selected by the Serpentine Committee. The Serpentine Committee chose the third summer show of 1976. In the accompanying catalogue, the selectors emphasised that the Serpentine’s summer shows were always intended to give young artists an early opportunity to show a body of work in the world beyond art schools. Thirty works by David Nash occupied the Serpentine Gallery lawn and greeted visitors to the show. Inside, works included Nicholas Pope’s Curved Stack, Richard Kidd’s Borghese, and Paul Beauchamp’s Twin Trax.
