Catalogue of the first major retrospective of Carel Visser held at Whitechapel Art Gallery, London, 18 January–26 February 1978; Arnolfini Gallery, Bristol, 4 March–29 April 1978; Third Eye Centre, Glasgow, 13 May–30 June 1978. The exhibition was directed by Sir Nicholas Serota. With an introduction by Sir Nicholas Serota and transcript of a conversation between Serota and Visser. Numerous installation views of the exhibition printed in monochrome across full bleed double page spreads.

Also includes:

1. List of works for the 1978 exhibition totalling 156 entries (including lender’s names) printed on a single sheet folded once to make 4 pages.
2. A text for the 1978 exhibition “The Sculptor’s Work by Carel Visser” printed on Whitechapel Art Gallery headed paper
3. An exhibition leaflet for the 1978 exhibition which includes a transcript of a conversation between Carel Visser, Jan Dibbets and R. H. Fuchs. Printed on a singles sheet folded once to make 4 pages.
4. A Whitechapel Gallery compliments slip
5. Press release and invitation for the exhibition Carel Visser , Counter Balance, at The Mayor Gallery in 2015
