BLAST edited by Wyndham Lewis. Complete first edition set of the Black Sparrow Press edition (1981, 1981, 1984.) Three volumes, each near fine. Facsimile editions of Wyndham Lewis' two original BLAST issues (1914, 1915) plus a third "homage compendium" edited by Seamus Cooney. 

Blast I, June 1914 (1981): “The great MAGENTA cover’d opusculus” wrote Ezra Pound. 1 of 3000 copies in bright pink paper wraps (there were also 276 deluxe copies hardbound in boards), 160pp., near fine. Includes the first publication of the radical Vorticist Manifesto with contributions by Ezra Pound, Wyndham Lewis, Ford Maddox Hueffer, Rebecca West, Edward Wadsworth, as well as… Notes on some German Woodcuts -- Feng Shui and Contemporary Form -- Relativism and Picasso's Latest Work -- The New Egos -- Orchestra of Media -- The Melodrama of Modernity -- Exploitation of Vulgarity -- The Improvement of Life  -- Suffragettes -- ILLUSTRATI0NS by EDWARD WADSWORTH -- WYNDHAM LEWIS -- FREDERICK ETCHELLS -- W.
