Catalogue of the 1961 Contemporary British Sculpture Open Air Exhibition held at Canon Hill Park Birmingham 22 April - 13 May 1961 and touring to Eastbourne, Cirencester, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Bradford. This was the 4th in a series of open air Arts Council exhibitions presented in centres outside London, the others being held in 1957, 1958 and 1960. London County Council had held the first pioneering open air sculpture exhibition in Battersea Park in 1948. The exhibition included works by Robert Adams, Kenneth Armitage, Ralph Brown, Reg Butler, Anthony Caro, Hubert Dalwood, Elisabeth Frink, Barbara Hepworth, F.E. McWilliam, Henry Moore, Eduardo Pailozzi and others.
