1. Modern Chairs 1918-1970’ published on the occasion of an exhibition at The Whitechapel Art Gallery, London, 22 July - 30 August, 1970. 32 pages of text printed on buff paper, bookending 120 pages of text-accompanied photographs on gloss paper.

Also including seven pieces of ephemera: a list of works from the V&A exhibition ‘Hille 75 Years of British Furniture’; a news clipping ‘Design for Comfy Living’ FT April 28 2001; invitation to the seminar ‘100 years of Modern Chair Design’ University or Lancaster Visual Arts Centre, October 20, 1979; news clipping relating to a suite of Victorian walnut campaign furniture owned by Captain Benjamin Simner in the 19th century; an article relating to Ercol from the FT 1 Feb 2020; exhibition checklist and floor plan for the exhibition ‘CHAIRS! British Design at work’ York City Art Gallery 1987; and a product leaflet from Aram Design detailing the 40/4 chair by David Rowland 1963.
