The cactus, wrapped in two pillows, formed part of the exhibition ‘Cactus’ held at Martello Street in 1985. Twenty eight years later, and with new additions added over the years, the single cactus left at the gallery by Hanna has grown into a cacti collection. Now, mass re-potting takes place to maintain the collection.”
