Published on the occasion of the major retrospective exhibition of Fernand Léger presented at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, at the Louvre Palace, Pavillon de Marsan from June to October 1956. Cover lithographed by Atelier Mourlot, Paris after the original gouache by Léger. Includes photos of Léger in his studio by Robert Doisneau, a preface by Jean Cassou, complete biography and bibliography and list of 222 works most of which are illustrated. Text in French. From the collection of the British artist Bernard Meyers (1925–2007).
