Working across sculpture, photography video art and large-scale installations, George Popperwell (b. 1935) began his exhibiting career in London before moving to Australia in 1977 where he taught at the South Australian School of Art until 2001. George Popperwell is represented in the collections of the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide and the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.

Along with the Private View Invitation to Popperwell’s solo exhibition held at New Vision Centre Gallery, London, in 1961.
