“The book showcases the most prominent works of the calligrapher Mohamed Zakariya, who dedicated his life to the art of calligraphy and was a pioneer in highlighting Ottoman calligraphers who brought beauty to their art. The book also includes translations of his calligraphic works. American artist Mohamed Zakariya has devoted his life to the art of calligraphy, and An Eloquent Eye presents highlights of his work along with translations of the text. Zakariya has studied the approach of the great Ottoman masters, who produced calligraphy both as a devotion and as a form of artistic expression.
